Agent dropout

Zero out an agent's participation entirely

Injection definition

Agent dropout models complete hardware node crashes, power outages, or physical failures by instantly zeroing out a target agent's participation in the multi-agent system (randomized onset between steps 40–60). The failed agent stops publishing state updates, issuing control actions, or responding to coordination signals. Surrounding agents must dynamically detect the missing node and redistribute workload across remaining functional units without causing system overflow or deadlock.
